Thangka relief art, supplied to trade
Thangka imagery in ceramic relief, made as table screens, desktop frames and wall pieces for shops, museum stores and distributors. Some designs are held in stock; any can be made to order or re-made to your size, frame and packaging.
Thangka relief art is supplied to trade three ways: designs we have already made, some of them held in stock; those designs re-made at another size, in another frame or format, or in your packaging; and new Thangka artwork developed to order. Every piece is ceramic relief with gold-tone accents, sold as art, not as a devotional object.
Designs we have made
Choose from the Thangka designs we have made, as table screens, desktop frames or wall pieces. Some are held in stock and sell from 1 piece; the rest are made to order, from 100 pieces of one design.
For gift shops, museum and gallery stores, cultural retailers and distributors adding Thangka art to a range they already sell.

An existing design, re-specified
Take a design we have made and change what it is made as — another size, another frame, another format, or your own packaging. Nothing is tooled, so a change of specification does not restart anything.
For buyers who want one of these designs but need it to fit their own shelf, price point or packaging line.

New Thangka artwork
A subject that is not in the range, developed as new artwork and produced to order — the ODM route, applied to Thangka imagery. The work stays faithful to the traditional image, and it is sold as art.
For museums, cultural institutions and retailers who need a particular subject, composition or series.

- Format, size and rough quantity
- Develop the artwork
- Prepare it for production
- Sample, then produce

Art, not a devotional object
Traditional Thangka follows canonical proportions and a lineage of source drawings. These pieces are ceramic relief artworks that depict that imagery faithfully — they are not made within that tradition, and we do not present them as if they were.
For a retailer that is also the practical position: it is a description your customers can rely on, and one nobody can fault you for repeating.
Thangka trade questions
Are these consecrated or intended for practice?
No. They are artworks that depict traditional Thangka imagery, and they are sold as art and decoration. We make no claim of consecration, blessing or suitability for practice or offering, because nothing in how they are made would support one. We would rather say that plainly than leave it for you to find out.
How faithful are the images?
Each piece is made to be faithful to the traditional image it depicts. That is a claim about fidelity to the source image, not about religious validity — if iconographic accuracy matters for your customers, ask about the specific design, or review the sample for new artwork before the run.
Is anything in stock?
Some designs are held in stock. Stock changes, so tell us the designs and quantities you are interested in and we will confirm what can ship now and what would be made to order.
Can we buy these to resell?
Yes — trade supply is what this line is for. In-stock pieces sell from 1 piece; anything made to order starts at 100 pieces of one design. Prices are confirmed on enquiry, with packing and freight as separate lines.
Can we order a single piece first?
Yes, if the design is in stock — a reasonable way to check a piece in hand before a larger order. For a design that has to be made, a paid sample does the same job.
Can a design be made at another size or in another frame?
Yes. Nothing in the process is tooled, so a design can be produced at another size, in another frame or as another format — a wall-piece image as a desktop frame, for example. We check the image still reads cleanly at the new size and sample it before the run.
Can these be supplied in our own packaging?
Yes. Your brand marks and packaging artwork on an existing design is the private label route, quoted with the order.
What if the design we want is not in stock?
Every design shown here can be made again from its artwork, from 100 pieces of one design. Lead time and price are confirmed together.
How should the pieces be cared for?
Dust dry and wipe only when necessary, testing first. The gold-tone detailing wants the gentle end of that — no abrasive cloths and no cleaning products.
