What we collect, and why
Updated 14 September 2026. Written from how this site actually works, and changed whenever that does.
Crafted By Idea collects the details you send through the enquiry form, by email or on WhatsApp, and uses them to reply, to quote and to handle any order that follows. Google Analytics measures how the site is used, with cookies, only if you accept them. We do not sell personal information. To see, correct or delete what we hold, email contact@craftedbyidea.com.
Who is responsible
Crafted By Idea is the trading name of PACT (Guangzhou) Industry Co., Ltd., registered at No. 1 Haiyu 1st Street, Nansha Subdistrict, Nansha District, Guangzhou, Guangdong 511458, China. Questions about your information go to contact@craftedbyidea.com.
What we collect
Only what you send us, and — if you accept analytics cookies — how the site is used.
- Enquiry form
- Your name, email, role, country or region, project type, description, budget range and timing — plus the page you sent it from, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link
- Email and WhatsApp
- Whatever you choose to send us, including files and your contact details
- Site use, if you accept
- Pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, how you arrived, and whether you started or sent the enquiry form or clicked an email or WhatsApp link
- Page requests
- IP address and request details, handled by our hosting provider to deliver the site and keep it secure
How it is used
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, to prepare quotes and samples, and to handle any order that follows. Site-use data is used to see which pages help people and which do not. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy terms.
- Web3Forms
- Receives the enquiry form and forwards it to our inbox by email
- Google Analytics
- Measures how the site is used, with cookies, if you accept them
- Cloudflare
- Hosts and delivers the site
- Carries messages if you contact us there, under its own terms
The site’s fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts.
Cookies
Google Analytics runs only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. It then sets cookies — named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier — to tell one visit from another. If you choose Decline, the analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set. The site sets no advertising cookies, and the enquiry form sets none.
Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or ; withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies.
Where it is processed, and for how long
We are based in China, and the services listed above may process data in other countries, including the United States. Enquiry correspondence is kept while it is needed for the enquiry, any order that follows and our business records. Site-use data is kept according to the retention setting of our Google Analytics property.
