We make your design — or design it
Most factories in this field will only machine to a file you supply. If you hold a theme, a collection or a landmark but no artwork, that is not a service you can use.
OEM means you supply finished artwork and we manufacture it. ODM means you supply the subject or the brief and we develop the artwork as well, then manufacture it. We do both. That matters if you hold a theme, a collection or a landmark but have no design ready to put into production.
OEM — we make your design
You supply finished artwork. We prepare it for production, make it in relief or 3D texture, and finish it in the format you need.
Brands, licensors and agencies that already hold artwork and need it manufactured.
- Finished artwork at usable resolution
- Target format, size and quantity
- Any brand colour references
- Packaging requirements, if retail-ready
- Preparing the laser cut file and the print file
- Film masking, laser cutting and sandblasting
- Building up the relief in UV ink, finishing and framing
- Sampling before the run, and packing for shipment

ODM — we design it too
You bring a subject, a theme or an asset. We develop the artwork as well as manufacture it.
Museums, visitor attractions, regional tourism bodies and brands that hold a subject or an IP but have no artwork ready to manufacture.
- The subject, theme or asset to work from
- Any reference material, photographs or existing identity
- Format, size and quantity you have in mind
- Who it is for and where it will be sold
- Developing the artwork from your brief
- Adapting it to what relief and 3D texture render well
- Everything in the OEM route from planning onward
- Revisions against the sample before the run

Private label
Finished goods carrying your brand rather than ours, packed retail-ready.
Retailers, museum shops and distributors selling under their own name.
- Your brand marks and any packaging artwork
- Barcodes, labelling and market requirements
- Quantity and delivery schedule
- Production under your brand
- Retail packaging to your specification
- Labelling applied before dispatch

Most factories cannot design
A museum has a collection. A visitor attraction has a landmark. A regional body has a craft tradition it wants to put in a shop. What none of them necessarily has is a print-ready file that will work well in relief.
That last part is the bit that catches people out. An image can be beautiful on paper and still work poorly in relief — flat tonal areas give the relief nothing to work with, and detail that survives at A3 can close up at magnet size. Designing with the process in mind is a different job from designing well.
One supplied design can be produced as a magnet, an unframed tile, a disc on a stand, a tassel pendant, a framed piece at several sizes, a table screen or a matched set — in rectangle, square, round, hexagon or fan.
What we have designed and made
Samples produced to prove range. Not a catalogue — they show how relief and 3D texture handle different kinds of image.

Cloud and lotus forms in relief, the colour held to each outline.

Loquats and a bird: rounded fruit, leaf veins and fine feathering on a gold-tone ground.

Red-crowned cranes at wall scale, each feather a separate raised form.

Flat colour planes stepping down through several distinct heights.

3D texture: brushstrokes built up in UV ink. Shown on a wood panel; the same texture is made on tile.

Contract questions
What is the difference between OEM and ODM here?
OEM means you supply the artwork and we manufacture it. ODM means you supply the subject or the brief and we develop the artwork as well. Both routes end at the same place — a finished ceramic relief piece in the format you need — but they start from different things, and the ODM route means you do not need artwork in hand before you talk to us.
We have a subject but no artwork. Can you still help?
Yes, and that is the ODM route. Bring the subject, any reference material and a sense of who it is for, and we develop the artwork from there — including adapting it to what relief and 3D texture actually render well, which is a constraint most designers working on paper have no reason to know about.
Who owns the design you produce for us?
Ownership and usage are agreed in the order rather than assumed here. Raise it early if the design will carry your brand or extend an existing identity, because it affects how the work is set up as much as who holds it afterwards.
Can our artwork and samples be kept confidential?
Please let us know about any confidentiality or sample-use requirements before placing your order so these can be reviewed and agreed in writing.
Can you match an existing product or range we already sell?
Send what you have. Matching an existing range is a normal brief, though be aware that a relief or 3D textured ceramic surface behaves differently from print on paper or flat-printed ceramic — we would rather show you a sample early than promise an exact match to something made by another process.
What is the minimum for an OEM order?
100 pieces of one design, for OEM and ODM alike. A paid sample of one piece comes first, so the design is approved in hand before the run. Nothing in the process needs a mould or a plate, which is why the same design can then run across several formats.
Design in hand, or just a subject? Either works.
Tell us which, the format you have in mind and roughly how many. Sampling takes 5–7 days.
