Shipping & damage

Getting it there, and what if it breaks

Route and terms are set per order. The part worth reading in advance is what to do when a carton arrives damaged.

Orders ship from our workshop in Nanhai District, Foshan. Freight route, transit time, incoterms and duty handling are set per order and stated on the quote rather than published as a standing policy. If anything arrives damaged, keep the packaging, photograph the damage and the labels, and contact us. The resolution will depend on the findings and the terms confirmed for your order.

If something arrives damaged

Four steps. The first two matter most, and they are the ones people skip.

01

Check on arrival

Open and inspect promptly, before the delivery paperwork is filed away and before anything is installed. Damage found after installation cannot be told apart from damage caused during it.

02

Keep everything

The outer carton, the inner packing and the labels. The packaging is the evidence of how the damage happened, and it is usually the first thing a carrier asks for.

03

Photograph it

The outer carton, the carton or crate label, the packing as you found it, and the damaged piece. A short video while unpacking is a useful addition.

04

Contact us

Send the images with the order reference. The resolution will depend on the findings and the terms confirmed for your order.

What is set on the quote

Freight mode and route, transit time, incoterms, who handles duty and clearance, and insurance. None of these is published as a standing policy, because each depends on the destination, the volume and what your procurement needs — and a default that did not fit your order would be worse than no default.

Shipping questions

Where do orders ship from?

From our own workshop in Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong. The company is registered in Nansha District, Guangzhou.

How long does delivery take?

Production is 20–30 days, depending on order quantity, after sampling of 5–7 days. Freight time depends on the route and mode chosen for the order and is stated on the quote. If you are working to a fixed date, say so at enquiry — it changes the freight choice rather than being fixable afterwards.

Who pays import duty?

That depends on the incoterms agreed for the order, which are set per quote rather than published as a default. Raise what your procurement process requires at enquiry so it is built into the quote.

What if something arrives broken?

Keep the packaging and labels, photograph the carton, the packing as found and the damaged piece, and contact us with the order reference. The resolution will depend on the findings and the terms confirmed for your order. Please check promptly — damage found after installation cannot be distinguished from damage caused by it.

Is freight insured?

Insurance, and who carries it, is stated on the quote for the order. Ask for it explicitly if your programme requires it.

Working to a fixed date? Say so first.

It changes the freight choice on the quote, and that is not something that can be fixed afterwards.
